[Hooly One]

This afternoon the cracks were beginning to appear in the Michelle and Stuart fling after the aspiring model's offer to share her bed was met with a lukewarm response from her "chicken".

In a scene of domestic bliss they washed and mangled the laundry together. But it soon took a sour twist when Michelle had the bed-sharing idea.

After Big Brother removed Stuart's mattress earlier today, Michelle made her proposal.

"They've put you in a position where you haven't got a choice," she justified.

Stuart laughed evasively and wouldn't commit to the idea but Michelle urged her snog partner to think about it.

"Yeah," he said unenthusiastically before suggesting that it would be wiser if Nadia shared with her. Michelle was not amused.

"I feel all rejected now," she retorted glumly.

All dried up?


Refusing to meet her eye, Stuart told her that it was the sensible option and turned his attention to slopping a towel in the bath.

But Michelle was not to be fobbed off and demanded, "How is it more sensible?"

There was a pause as he considered his answer and focused on his towel. "'Cos it is..." he tailed off, his voice high-pitched.

Michelle insisted she felt spurned and Stuart asked her to understand his position.

"Oh, what's your favourite position?" joked Michelle, trying to lighten the moment. But Stuart wasn't having any of it.

So, after getting nothing more from the object of her affections, Michelle gave up. "Fine. OK. OK," she said stonily before wandering off.

"Glad you understand," Stuart muttered to her retreating back.
