Despite being given a reprieve from nominations this week, some housemates are keen to hold their own fake ones to find out where they stand in the House popularity stakes.

The idea was thrown into conversation this afternoon - and seized upon by Jason.

"Aren't you SO happy you don't need to nominate [this week]?" asked Vanessa, as the group sat in the living room.

"Yeah..." said Jason uncertainly before doing a swift about-face and claiming, "I'd like some excitement... [Nominations are] the only thing I look forward to in here".

Dan then mystifyingly agreed, "I wanna nominate this week".

Jason claimed that nominations and evictions were the only things that kept him sane. Vanessa then suggested that she ask Big Brother if the housemates could nominate "just for the hell of it."

Jason - who has several times expressed a desire to leave the House - urged, "Nominate me... and get me out of here."

But despite coercing his housemates to vote him out he appeared to have an ulterior motive.

If the bogus nominations occurred, Jason wanted Big Brother to "let us know who's got the most votes... just to give us some sort of idea of how things are panning out."

The discontented Scot's suggestion that he and Victor would be least popular was met with uncomfortable laughter from the group.

Are the self-dubbed Jungle Cats still playing a game? Or does Jason really want out?

I hope BB doesnt allow this .
Jason wont rest till he finds out who dares to put his name up.
These people are already walking on eggshells round this man.
Who ever he believes puts his name forward will suffer!
BB doesnt seem to show any signs of intervening.
