Default Has BB5 lost its excitement since the argument?

Until the argument this year's BB was full of life, excitement, evilness and lived up to the phrase 'expect the unexpected'. Now they seem to me to have, on the whole, quietened down and may (and I say may) be in danger of going down the boring housemates route because they realise how lucky many of them are to still be in the house.

Is BB going to get evil again or have the producers lost their nerves?

I think it'll get back into the swing of things once Vanessa's been evicted. I agree that some housemates have become a bit boring since the fight - mainly Victor and Jason. On the other hand, Dan is coming out of his shell, which is only a good thing since he's got tons of new fans since the fight.

There is no story line to speak of at the moment. Both BB and the housemates will be sacared of coming out of their shells again.....When you remove a key catalyst as they have done then expect to experience a flatliner.

I haven't watched BB for about two days, i think it might get better by tuesday because i think victor, jason and marco will be up for eviction and that might add a lot of negative tension.

You know, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they were redecorating the bedsit right now, ready for a future surprise.... It would be a bit of a waste to only use that room once early on in the series. Maybe it could become a kind of punishment room?

I certainly hope that Big Brother's evil streak returns next week, anyway!

I think they are all so aware of the voting coming up that they will be even more inclined to not rock the boat that it could even get more boring until after nominations are announced. Now if it is Victor and Jason - that could liven things up.

To me BB seems to have every ounce of its evilness. Letting them have a a running machine - start being nasty again. Perhaps the next task could be that they lose money for their food as has been the case in the past. These are being fed too well again. A bit of hunger will cause friction against whoever lost them the money. Stop being a scaredy cat BB - get EVIL again.

The HMs have had the heat taken off them by the lack of nominations and an eviction last week.

Also they have been scared to provoke another argument. They're still a long way to go though so anything could happen.

I initially really got into this years BB and thought it was one of the best (though not as good as BB2 of course ) At the moment though I hate it. I loathe Marco and the rest of his harem and they seem to be taking more and more prominence in the house - I really find it very difficutl to watch when they are centre stage. I still really like Jason, Vanessa and Dan. One of the three will be going tonight (probably Vanessa who I will miss terribly). Jason is not happy in there and has withdrawn so much into himself that, even though I still like him a lot, he is difficult to watch because of this. Once he has gone as well I will probably stop wacthing altogether as there will be no-one in there that I am interested in - no, I'll go further than that, there will be no-on in there (with the exception of Dan) that I could even bare to watch for more than 5 mins.

I've never felt this way about BB before - even though I didn't watch that much towards the enf of last years there were still quite a few characters that I liked, even if they were perceived as a bit boring. This years I just hate everyone (apart from Dan, Vanessa and Jason - and possibly Ahmed).

This is following my prediction that we will be saying how better BB4 was by the end of BB5.

The excitement of Cameron going to South Africa to be replaced by Gae Tano, the bomb scare, The return of Tickle, Lisa, the reward room. Cameron reading the bible in the Diary room.

Happy days

Not in my case. Although BB5 is at the moment "effectively finished" and may or may not remain so. It is still a fact that the first 3 weeks of BB5 are worth dozens and dozens and dozens of BB4's. Nothing but nothing could ever be as bad as the Tickle and Cameron pinky and perky show...

BB4 bored me stiff after a few weeks and I stopped watching it.

BB5 on the other hand, has been - can I say this here? - bloody BRILLIANT. Yes, it's quietened down a bit since the fight, but things will pick up again, I think. And this time, I have a fab, flamboyant, fantastic contestant to root for

The 2nd law of thermodynamics, and in some ways the law of diminishing returns predict that each succeeding BB will be worse than the last.

Sticks - what makes BB4 better than this year.

The only reason I watched BB4 was because of Steph (she comes from my neck of the woods). I still found it boring.

The bedsit idea was fantastic this year.

I was on holiday last week (in the UK), but didn't really feel like watching BB in the evening show round-ups. I think a week to settle and regroup has been necessary to sort things out and that the fireworks should start again this week. Hopefully, the "evil" thing this weekend should do it.

If they so want to be evil, how about throwing them all out and getting a new set of housemates.
