Default When will Matt Groening realise...

Quote:
Matt Groening has confirmed that a sequel to last summer's The Simpsons Movie is on the horizon.

Speaking at the Television Critics Association press tour, the cartoon's creator noted that a second feature could take several years to emerge as the show's production team aren't keen to put in the extra hours.

"It will happen at some point, but I have no idea when," he said. "The first one took us four years - mainly because we don't like to work any harder than we usually do."

He added: "We'll get to it, I'm sure."

The Simpsons Movie grossed more than $500 million at the worldwide box office.
DS

The Simpsons is dead. It stopped being funny a long time ago. End it now while we still have good memories.

I still like it

There was a time I didn't really like it, it wasn't funny but I feel it started getting a bit better again.
The sequel could be make or break.

Pretty much says why another one is being made

They won't be getting any money from me though.. I've never even watched a full episode of it in my life! My housemate watches it (and family guy) ALL the time, it drives me mad

I used to love it, and my Dad is obsessed with it. But as I've grown up I've come to realise it just isn't as funny as it used to be.

Family Guy on the other hand is hilarious!

I still find The Simpsons funny but I don't think a second movie should be made.

Yeah, I have to admit other programmes like Family Guy, American Dad etc are taking over the adult-cartoon market.

Oh christ.

The first one wasn't funny. Spiderpig made me so ****ing pissed off! EVERYONE kept singing it. And it's NOT FUNNY.

The Simpsons sucks. And has done for a long time.

Family Guy = the best.

Whoever said The Simpsons is dead, needs there eyes tested.
Can you not see the amount is took?

That is YOUR opinion, the majority of the world say differently.
Bring it on.

I still love The Simpsons

The Simpsons was a great funny show but the more recent seasons have been just awful and not at all funny.
The movie was the worst I have seen the show, it was just bad and lacked something but I don't know what.

There is no need for a second movie and I think the show should end soon because its obvious that the quality is declining.

Family Guy is much better
