Default Victor\'s not a Gangsta, Just a Naughty Boy

THE mum of Big Brother housemate Victor Ebuwa last night pleaded with the nation: "Don't make my son Britain's most hated man."

And she declared: "He's no gangster. He's just a very naughty boy."

Despite his tough image, mum Christiana described him as an avid Shakespeare reader who is devoted to his girlfriend and plans to marry her.

She even revealed the self-proclaimed former school bully saved another pupil's life aged 15 - but was too modest to tell her of his heroism.

The defiant mum denied he was a bully and a thug, saying: "He's no gangster or a saint. Nobody's perfect. He's just a joker having some fun."

She spoke out after the 23-year-old became a figure of fury for many Big Brother viewers.

He threatened to "*******ing smack" Emma in their notorious row.

That followed his claim to have been a teenage gang member who charged other pupils 20p so he wouldn't beat them up.

But Christiana urged Big Brother fans: "Leave my boy alone. There are many bad people around. But what has he done? He had an argument with Emma and that makes him the most hated person in Britain."

And she blasted allegations that he bragged about selling hard drugs as false. The angry mum said: "He has never done drugs. Channel 4 have searched through their tapes and they can't find the section.

"He has got thousands of pounds on a student loan. His lifestyle is not that of a dealer's.

"Which dealer would go on national television and say, 'I am a dealer'?"

She claimed he had been in trouble with police only once after a friend gave him a voucher for catalogue store Argos as a present and it turned out to be fake.

"He was taken to court and the case was thrown out because of lack of evidence. I never doubted his innocence at all," his mother revealed.

She blamed Emma for the bust-up, saying: "Emma said she would kill him. What do you expect? Do you expect him to sit down there and take it? He replied back."

The mum-of-four added: "Victor will never lay a hand on a woman. He will only restrain a woman. He will not beat a woman.

"Victor was smiling when he chucked the wine at Emma. It was only when he walked away that Emma threw the plate at him and things got worse.

"There is a limit to human endurance. He was pushed. I praise him for not hitting her as it takes a man not to do that. Others would have lashed out and hit Emma - not Victor."

Christiana said producers had to throw Emma out to keep the peace. She claimed: "They spoke to Emma and she didn't give them the guarantee there would be peace in there if she went back and that is why she was taken out of the house.

"Victor would have been willing to sort it out but there would have still been arguments caused by Emma."

But she claimed editors are deliberately portraying him as "a bad guy".

The 51-year-old said: "I think they are editing footage to make Victor look bad. I am very angry. It is very upsetting to the whole family."

Christiana, of Forest Gate, East London, continued: "He's just playing a game. The gangster image that Victor is giving out is all an act for the cameras in order to win."

Fans watched Victor's relationship with Emma get more and more heated. The first real trouble was when she walked in on him in the toilet.

They had to be separated. Emma got revenge in the bedsit by giving him cold showers for a week.

Christiana said: "I blame Big Brother for the argument. When they let them back in the house I saw it coming." But she said of the bust-up: "Victor and Emma just had an argument. Nobody hit one another but Big Brother showed it as though it was a big fight."

She recalled his heroism aged 15 on a school holiday in the Welsh Hills.

"One of the class fell and Victor managed to catch him. He didn't think anything of it and kept it to himself.

"But afterwards the boy came up and told us what Victor had done. He was very thankful. We couldn't believe it."

She said her son achieved eight grade Bs at GCSE and, outside the BB house, loved to read Shakespeare and Edgar Allan Poe.

She added Victor, who had trials for West Ham and Tottenham, planned to marry girlfriend Alesha. She is mum of their two-year-old son Darian.

"They are very much in love and are both really happy," Christiana said. "He would never cheat on her with anyone - not even Michelle."

Anyone heard him talk about his son?

That sounds typically what any mum would say about her son. In most mum's eyes their children can do no wrong.

If this is true, then how much has his mum just ruined what she think is his plan by telling the nation that he's a fake??

This is my first post on this forum, I host it for Mark, and I've looked in on this site over the past BB's but this post made me laugh.

Another thing...

... fair enough but generally if you are so in love with someone (which his mother goes on to say) why are they not engaged? When Shell asked him if he was engaged he said 'huh eh.. no' as if he was 'too cool' to be engaged. Maybe I picked that up the wrong way but I had nothing against the guy, I do now thanks to his mums comments.
