Doo much coke rex?
Quote:
Doo much coke rex? PLAYBOY Rex Newmark tries to disguise the fact he's wastedin a Scooby-Doo outfit...and he would have got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky drugs.
Instead, the sniffer dog ends up passed out on the bed clutching hold of a bag of white powder, which his best mate insists is cocaine.
Rex's pal Henry Buckley sensationally revealed all about the Big Brother bad boy's booze and drug-fuelled past.
"Coke is Rex's drug of choice," Henry, 26, explained. "It's part and parcel of the lifestyle he's in."
In an exclusive interview with News of the World, he also revealed how the ginger chef:
*SNORTED cocaine while partying with a big star,
*Ended up in hospital after an ACID trip went horribly wrong and,
*Threatened a drug dealer with a Samurai SWORD.
Henry, Rex's pal for the past ten years, also told how the BB housemate went from Scooby to Shaggy when he popped love drug Viagra and bedded a blonde 16 times in ONE NIGHT. Henry said: "Rex told me Viagra helped him perform after drinking and taking drugs.
"The first time he took it, he reckons he had sex 16 times in one night with a gorgeous girl!"
Speaking about our exclusive snap of a wasted Rex dressed up as Scooby, Henry said: "I am 100 per cent certain that's a bag of coke in his hand and a tooting implement.
"This is the usual scene for him after a night out on the town."
Rex's celebrity namedropping and chats about his wealth has riled other housemates over the past few weeks. Yet this showbiz lifestyle has brought with it a dangerous taste for drugs, according to Henry.
He explained: "A Friday and Saturday night wouldn't be the same if we weren't using coke, we'd take a gram each.
"We'd always go back to people's house afterwards and the parties would go on and on. We'd call up drug dealers at 10am on Sunday mornings to get more drugs.
"Quite often we'd be up all night and go to a bar when they opened on a Sunday, then we'd be doing it off the tables on the sly because we were so *********." And this week, Rex, 24, likened BB to "rehab" and admitted: "Being in Big Brother has saved me because my life was on the path to destruction."
Henry added: "Cocaine was a regular occurrence. Rex thought it was the drug of the high life and his cocaine was just a phone call away for him. He'd spend about £100 a week, just a couple of grams a week.
"We'd go to high-end parties in the West End and had our own table in one well-known club because we knew the owner.
"We would be there every Saturday, order lots of bottles of champagne and do loads of coke. Sometimes we would snort it at our private table because everyone was doing it."
During one all-night drugs bender, Rex and Henry ended up doing lines of coke at the same table as a famous pop star.
Henry recalled: "Rex loved being seen with stars and one night we hung out with one in the VIP area of a Soho club.
"We were high on coke talking to him all night—we did the coke right in front of him, snorting the stuff out of our hand on the sly."
Rex and Henry's drug taking began when Rex was just a 13-year-old schoolboy smoking marijuana.
Henry revealed: "We were both really naughty boys. Rex was kicked out of nine schools and I was kicked out of six.
"We were friends with a lot of older boys at school. They were all doing it and we liked the idea of fitting in and being cool.
"Within a few weeks, Rex would be smoking weed every day. He did that for seven years."
It wasn't long before Rex—now dating stunning student Nicole Cammack, 19—had experimented with mind-bending LSD. But this went horribly wrong when he reacted badly to the acid and was rushed to hospital.
"Rex freaked out one day on acid," recalled Henry. "He was sweating and shaking uncontrollably for over an hour. His dad had to take him to hospital.
"He said he was connected to lots of wires and they had to tie him down because he kept thrashing around on the bed."
And Rex's drug nightmare continued when he had to defend himself with a sword after being confronted by a drug dealer.
Henry said: "People kept turning up to this party to buy drugs from the dealers and a massive fight kicked off. A guy pulled a knife and demanded money and drugs. Then Rex came running out of the house with a three-foot long samurai sword.
"He started walking towards the guy as if he was going to cut him. I was so scared I told Rex to go back into to get some money and drugs to give this guy.
"He disappeared inside and returned with a beefy Hungarian wrestling pal who stopped the attacker in his tracks."
But Henry believes his friend has now turned a corner in his life—and much of that is thanks to Rex going on the reality TV hit.
Henry insisted: "Rex wanted to calm down the partying because he was worried about how much he was drinking and taking drugs.
"Big Brother was the perfect opportunity for him to do that. It was like a forced cold turkey. It's cheaper than the Priory anyway.
"I think Big Brother will be the best thing Rex does because it'll help him to get back on the straight and narrow."
