Default Vocal Vic - Player Or Pussycat

Man about town Victor has carefully prepared his tough guy, lady-lovin' image to go with his plain-speaking swagger.

But his choice of songs to sing in the House reveals a softer side he doesn't like to admit to.

A soundtrack of the songs Victor's belted out in the House would have to include tracks by gay icons Kylie and Jason, gay icon Ricky Martin and, erm, Queen.

Could Victor be playing to the pink vote as the man's man with a sensitive side?

Calling himself 'Slick' Victor's given the impression that he's a guy with impeccable street cred, a man who loves the ladies almost as much as they dig him.

But maybe he impresses the chicks with his nerd-like knowledge of films like 'Pretty Woman' (witness Day 28 when in a late night film chat, Victor revealed a startling knowledge of every nuance of the movie's script) and his rendition of Kylie and Jason's 'Especially For You'? (Day 34)

Or perhaps they swoon when he performs Barry Manilow's 'Copacabana'. (He crooned this showstopper with gusto on Day 25)

Or maybe they go weak at the knees when he sings 'You've Lost That Loving Feeling'. (Day 28, post the Pretty Woman chat)

It's hardly goes with a man who's bragged about his reputation as a love machine and the threesomes he's had.

Victor told housemates how he fully expects to be confronted by lorry loads of lustful ladies when he leaves the House. He reckons his mates will be all over him trying to take up his "overflow".

He even promised to lend some of his cred to Ahmed when they leave the House. "I'll pimp him up," he said.

The big guy has also boasted of being well known at University for being 'Da Man'.

But is he well known for his version of 'We Will Rock You'?

And when he's at the wild parties he's spoken of, does he get nuff respec' when he belts out 'La Vida Loca'? (Day 28)

Another drain on his credibility as a macho, macho man must have been the sight and sound of him on television singing the theme tune to Henry's Cat (Day 29)

But perhaps his biggest faux pas against his standing as a geezer was achieved when he joined in to sing the Fairy Liquid advert, "Hands that do dishes can feel soft as your face..." (Day 31)

Victor - the hard man with the soft hands and delicate heart. Bless...
