I thought they found ice caps ages ago? Or is this the first time they have been able to test a physical sample?

(After skimming it that got answered haha)

Interesting I suppose, but we always knew there was water anyway lol.

... or there still is. We just might not be able to see it. We can't see things like germs but we know they're there, and they are life forms so theres nothing saying there isn't similar on Mars.

Life was discovered on mars ages ago, and water was as well... this only big because they have been able to test it and confirm it. Life was found on mars ages ago, im like... 90% sure on that. They found some bacteria on a rock or something.

Actually they did not

The items of interest on that Martian meteorite that they found in Antarctica turned out to be caused by the gold coating they put on so it be examined in a Scanning Electron Microscope.

Dear lord, that's a lot.

Anyway, I also read another article the other day suggesting that there was something else found on Mars, but the government didn't want to tell us about it or something like that? (I read it on digg)
