Considering thats your first banner i think you've done an amazing job, well done! x

A very good attempt for a first banner, I think if you had a better font then it would be a lot better. Maybe try http://www.dafont.com , they have some good fonts under the sans serif section.

Yeah it's great for your first try but yeah if you change the font it will be even better
