POOR Marco. The happy clapper has gone. When he said he wasn’t upset about being nominated I don’t think it was just bravado.
I can identify with that. It didn’t bother me and the heartbeat monitor and bio-rhythms detector we all wore would back me up. But you do get emotional thinking about your family and friends outside the house. The very thought that you’re going to see them makes being in the house that week very hard. Perhaps it would have been more eventful if one of the other two had been out, because Marco was so reasonable about leaving. He was probably just relieved that it was him because he’d have felt really bad if it had been Nadia or Michelle. Afterwards he appeared genuinely shocked by the news that Nadia had once been a man. They were best friends in the house, so it was quite a revelation. The house will definitely miss him. I don’t mean in the flowery wishy-washy sense. They’ll miss him because he caused much of the friction. But I’m sure Jason and Victor will be glad he’s gone. Evil Davina has hinted something evil is going to happen to Jason and Victor this week. Could it be that they’ll not get to vote? Bring it on. The viewers will love it! And Ahmed had a hard time last week. He feels badly treated by BB because he was reprimanded for talking about nominations when he clearly thinks he was innocent. He was annoyed the other housemates heard him being called into the diary room by Big Brother’s angry voice. The only time I felt close to losing the rag was when Big Brother insinuated we’d deliberately not given proper nomination reasons the previous week. I was furious and sat about in a mood for a wee while before I eventually went in to the diary room and told them how I felt. Perhaps Ahmed is feeling the same. Fury He’s asked everyone to nominate him this week, but Jason rightly pointed out that might not work because the public might not vote him out. I don’t think they will. He makes interesting viewing. People are enjoying seeing him venting his fury. Shell is going to be informed at some point this week that she’s achieved a first in her History of Art degree at Glasgow University. Before we went in last year they asked us to write down three things we’d want to be told about. Not things like the outcome of the World Cup, but personal things. I had down death or serious illness of a family member. But I also said on no account were they to tell me if our family dog, Sarge, died. I would have been too distraught. This could be one of the things Shell’s listed, though I’d be surprised. So it’s very unusual that Big Brother would pass on this type of information. For one thing it’s not fitting with the promised “evil” theme. I’m still waiting for Big Brother to put their money where their mouth is. Sunday Post |
