Now that that the Uk has familiarised itself with the 2012 olympic logo, how do you feel about it now ? Have you warmed to the logo or do you dislike it ? Also do you think the UK will be able to match Beijing's opening ceremony in 2012 ?

I don't mind it, actually. It is simple, but mehh. I don't get what the dot between the 1 and 2 is for, though? It makes it look like 20.12 or 201.2 :S Maybe the theme will be simple? I hope not, as there will be high expectations after today's ceremony.

but I think I am one of a few who likes it when its in colour

and London 2012 wont come close to Beijing's opening ceremony, it was just amazing.
China has prepared its performers for a year for that one night, alot of effort went into it and it payed off
It doesn't matter how well the UK opening ceremony is anyway because there will probably be a terrorist attack on it

I, for some reason, actually really like this logo. I think it looks modern, it doesn't look like a dull, boring business logo, it looks youthful and edgy, and I think it is a great logo to represent a modern event.

That logo is all down to the planners trying to appeal to 'teenagers'

They've went for this splat of colour and thought "WOW kids will like that". To be honest, I'm a teenager and yes its colourful and it is graffiti like. I wouldn't say I loved it - but its not really bad. At least it's something different.

Well as on of the mian ppl at school in sports we can go one better with our opening we got the O2 with the things that come up from it we big ben we got the river we got buses and all that this is the best time to stop the deaths in and around london to have the game in the uk is like 1 in 1000000 and we do not kids dieing in whats going to be the best time of there lifes and i don't want to here on bbc everyday there has been a death in london
