Paul Robinson returns to Neighbours

Stefan Dennis is making a dramatic return to Ramsay Street.

The actor is reprising the role of Paul Robinson after a decade-long absence from the soap.

He starts filming in six weeks, according to Inside Soap magazine.

It is not clear how the character will be written back in to the soap - all his relatives have either died or moved out of Erinsborough.

It seems likely the hard-hearted tycoon will move back in to the home he once shared with brother Scott, played by Jason Donovan, dad Jim and gran Helen Daniels.

Bad boy Paul left the street after confessing to insurance fraud.

During his eight years in the soap, from 1985-1993, the character married three times and was shot by his first wife.

After leaving Neighbours Dennis launched a singing career. When this did not take off he returned to acting and has appeared in The Bill and Casualty.

Dennis will be return to the soap for the end-of-season cliffhanger at Christmas in Australia. British viewers will have to wait until the New Year to see him back on screen.

Definitely right there. Problem is there are a lot of people who cant disassociate him from his neighbours part. I for one could never accept him when he was in Dream Team, but then thats me. Perhaps he could come back as Harold's long lost illegitimate son LOL
