I think it works... (most of the time ) Whichever theme you use might have a slight effect as, I believe, some themes have bigger fonts.
When you click "Show full sig" can there not be then an option to "unshow" it afterwards? I know what I mean, I just can't word it right

I don't like the "Show full sig" option. Not because of what it does, but because of how its worded. If it said "Show full signature" I'd be happy. I hate the word sig. Ewww it reminds me of a moudly warehouse of some sort.

I had to get rid of loads of things in my sig because of this. Why is the size being reduced again?

I'm not enjoying this, my banner has been cut and my little icons took away. Why can't they be bigger?

It's not being reduced. I set it to the height of one big banner plus 5 lines of text, although it can vary a little.

You could do something like this in your signature to reduce the size of the pic...
