I don't think either of them argues there point very well, with Derek not making much sense at all and Makosi to really give an explanation or a point to her argument.

However, as much as it kills me, I agree with Makosi.

I agree with both points but I would stand by Makosi if I were there. U would never hear of a straight club.

I think this is more of just an argument between the two than a serious debate...neither of them put across a very strong or clear argument before resorting to personal issues.

You have never seen a straight club? I think what Makosi is missing out there is that yes we dont call them Straight clubs but they do exist. Why are their gay clubs? Because if a gay couple went to any normal club and kissed and danced on each other they would get stupid looks and comments that they dont need. As much as you like to think it Homosexuality isnt fully accepted in the country and probably never will be. Straight people are allowed to gay clubs its just they are called gay clubs to warn people that the club is for people who fancy the same sex and there will be women kissing women and men kissing men so dont kick up a fuss about it.
I dont see gay people making a fuss about things when they go to a straight club, and for the information a straight club is pretty much every other club that isn't a gay club. I even say to my mates if I am with straight guys and we go to a rock club im like "Omg we are having a straight night out" but if im with my gay mates and we go to a gay club its not a straight night out. And for that... there are definatley straight clubs out there.

Waffle.

You pretty much summed everything up I would've said.
I think we need gay clubs.
Gay clubs is where gay people meet, and can be themselves.
They can't in any other club, because they're predominantly straight, and it'd be likely not tolerated.
My bf tends to go to gay clubs with his mates, and he'd say the same thing.
In fact, I want to work in a Gay Club when I'm older.

So I totally agree with Fom.
&therefore agree with Derek.

Agreed. Gay people dont flaunt their r/s any more than straight people do.

and a gay club is just so we can go there and just be ourselves without the worry of rude remarks or nasty jibes from people.

hell no, gay clubs are far worse for the jibes. They so bitchey. I grew up near Brighton and as a bottom surfer myself i am not that fond of gay clubs.

And yeah I agree with makosi, you don;t have striaght clubs, i find the whole gay club thing sometimes a bit hypocritacl as Gay men want to be equal and not segregated, yet segregate themselves at gay clubs???

And normal clubs are better anyways, more fun, better music, and no 40 year old fat perverts trying to touch you up all night thinking that they are allowed because it's a gay club. (that really bugs me).
