I suppose the more they are like myself... the more i like them. hence why i liked dale and staurt.
And if they cause a bit of tension without acting like and asshole and entertainment. I dislike people like Darnell where they constantly bitch about stuff, does andything he can for sympathy n that. |

For me, a good housemate is somebody entertaining and funny, can stir up the house and provide us with some great viewing.
This is why Victor is my favourite housemate ever and Rex is my second favourite ever ![]() |

Funny, entertaining, kind but with a fantastic sense of humour - maybe a bit of a wind up merchant like Rex but not quite as rude and arrogant as him! I really dislike the bullying tactics of certain hm's and they should be evicted asap!

Funny and entertaining and original. I dont mind if they have a bitch and a moan, but aslong as they dont take it too far or do it as theyre gameplan. I hate wannabe celebs with no personality or talent to back it up.

A good housemate is one who gives us lots to talk about ...so a bit of controversy, drama and depth of character
Probably a nightmare to actually live with , though. |

Well it depends to be honest.
I like housemates for different reasons. Sylvia, Makosi, Rex types because they stir up trouble and keep the drama going Rachel, Imogen, Pete types because they aren't the completely dislikable 'freaks' you usually get. They're honest, nice people and are people I think she should be rewarded for being decent human beings. I think if I really can't stand a housemate they don't make a good housemate because it makes you want to switch off rather than causing good drama or entertainment. For example Nicole, Luke or Dennis I would consider bad housemates because watching them was a chore and I found myself wanting to throw something at the TV when they come on. |

When BB first started- so long ago now - the first three series seemed to have ordinary people- some nice, some not so- and you could relate to them on that level.
See ordinary people react to the strange events of the house as they one by one were whittled down. After 'Jade' and the sleepy time of BB4 the series changed- no more looking for ordinary people- they (Endemol) stuffed the house with vacuous wannabes- prancing and preening, bitching and bullying- as they fought to become the next- Jade, a singer or that old BB staple- TV presenter. I hate all those characters frankly- and this year the one who stood out most for me as being true to the original idea- is Rachel- a decent person reacting to events instead of creating fake events, screaming and crying and getting her boobs out. It's HMs like Rachel that make it for me- and there aren't many of them around. |
