What difference does it make whether the votes are votes to evict or votes to save? I mean doesn't it achieve exactly the same thing, but just done a different way?
I am befuddled.

a vote to save will have all the housemates up and most likely reveal whos the most favourite, a vote to evict is to see whos the most hated

on a 1 on 1 there is no different.

its only if 3 + are up it makes a different.

Yeh if Rex was up and the vote was to evict a lot more people would vote cos they hate him more than say kat, but if it was to vote to save hes prob got more fans than kat and would stay

I think when voting to evict theres usually one of the housemates thats done something more that week to piss people off, so it's usually fairly easy to tell who's going, but when you're voting to win it all depends on how big a fanbase the person has managed to maintain over the whole series.

If only two are up it makes no difference. If more than two are up then a vote to save will be more difficult for the bookies and everyone to to predict. Therfor people are not that easily influenced by hate campaigns as in a two way vote to evict. Hate is easier to detect than love is. A vote to save is a vote of love. A vote to evict is a vote of hate/dislike

vote to evict= person with the most haters goes

bearing in mind that one housemate can have a lot of fans and a lot of haters as well, ie Rex
so vote to evict means that an entertaining housemate usually goes
and vote to save means that you get all the boring housemates out that have very few fans and the entertaining housemates stay
