She wasnt string anything up, thats what the highlights wanted to make you think so cleverly. If you watched the whole thing, when sara and Darnell started flirting in the pool, the others were discussing the fact that Darnell likes sara, and she doesnt like him that way, and wasleading him on. So they decided t go in the garden to see if they could stop them. Rex wanted to get in the pool but changed his mind. Kat made that comment "how romantic", to make them feel uncomfortable, and realise how it looks. It was sarcastic, to get darnell to see it, not stirring it up. She was trying to protect her friend!
