BIG BROTHER: AHMED RECALLS KIDNAP TRAUMA
EVICTED housemate, Ahmed Aghil has revealed what has been REALLY haunting him inside the Big Brother house.
The 44-year-old said his father had been assassinated in war-torn Somalia.
And Ahmed claimed he was almost murdered by secret police who kidnapped and blindfolded him when he was a 17-year-old student.
He told his story to explain why he refused to be blindfolded during one of the BB tasks and why he flipped during an army challenge.
His decision cost the housemates £2500 of their prize money but yesterday he said: 'It was one of the most terrifying moments of my life and I promised myself I would never be blindfolded again.'
Ahmed, said his father had been killed aged 63. The assassin was later jailed for life.
Speaking about the night he was kidnapped in Mogadishu in November 1977, Ahmed said: 'It was 3am and there was a knock at the door.
'There were two guards with guns. They placed a hood over my head and put me in a car.'
He said he was interrogated and threatened for two days, and was only freed when his family paid £820.
Ahmed said: 'Other students taken that night were never seen again.'
