Final Fantasy Rebirth (X-3)

1000 years after Yuna and Tidus died peacefully, Spira is a very different world, with a whole city named after Yuna, deep in the city a governement scientist finds a way to bring Pyreflies back into living people, and he decides to test it, and the victim is none other than Tidus.

Tidus escapes from the laboratory, and becomes a fugitive, hunted by the great Yevon government, he runs off to Zanarkand, and encounters a few people along the way, who he joins with to block the attacking force that invades Zanarkand.

Later in the game, the scientist revives none other than Yuna, and threatens to kill her unless Tidus hands himself into Great Yevon, Tidus and his new team storm the city of Yuna and invade the laboratory, in the process, they cause the "Rebirth crisis" which millions of pyreflies to return into people, the Farplane vault burst open as the rebirthed head out.

At the end of the game a group of Pyreflies form out at sea, which then absorbs even more and becomes Sin Reborn, a giant sea/land creature, leaving the way for a sequel

I like the idea! I think they should leave it at a happy ending now though. You could always make a fangame in RPG maker or something though!

I'll have to get back to this thread when i've thought of some ideas.

If they'd tone down the Cyndi Lauper vibes and focused more on the story of Paine and Lenne and Shuyin then it would have been much better. I do love X-2 but I'll admit that the 'girls just wanna have fun' feeling bogged it down a little.

Yeah, I mean the story underneath it all was quite sad, I'd really like to see Tidus and Yuna again though XD

Maybe one day they'll do a film like they did with Advent Children.

It'd take up quite a few UMD's I think, but I'd like to see FFX on the psp, I never get chance to play on my Ps2 anymore it'd be nice to play it again.

I reckon it could be done, look at the graphics for Crisis Core. If they compress FFX slightly it could be done methinks.

Yeah that'd be interesting to play. Or a prequel game with Paine and her buddies (can't think of their names now).

It's strange though, with the DS and Gameboy advance they either re-released, remade or updated FF 1-6. I naturally assumed they'd port FF7-9 to the psp (Especially in the case of FF7 since it's the most famous FF and it would be easy to port due to it's dated graphics and stuff). It's a little bit of a wasted opportunity I think. But then again the FF games for the Advance didn't come out until the end of it's lifespan so who knows?

I used to have it for the ps1 but I lost a disc so I got it for the Pc recently. I'd recomend getting that and VIII if you can. However if you get VII for the pc for the love of god get a controller too, VII's dificult to control with the keyboard (It's strange really, 8's entirely playable on a keyboard).

None existant at the moment it's taking ages to import the clips. It shouldn't take me long to do it though i've got it pretty much sorted what I want in my head.
