DARNELL’s granny yesterday exposed him as an Ali G-style fake hoodlum who LIED about being in gangs to look tough in the house.
Nurse Pam Macrae said her grandson was NEVER part of a criminal gang while in the US.

And she claimed he LIED he was in prison — saying he just got a slap in the wrist for possessing marijuana.

She said the real reason he was deported from America was because he wasn’t a registered citizen.

Partially-sighted Darnell, 26, who was born in Ipswich but raised in St Louis, bragged to housemates about being inside.

But 62-year-old Pam reckoned that’s a load of Booyakashas.

She said: “Darnell being deported had nothing to do with gangs, he’s never been involved in anything like that. Let’s face it, would you want a partially-sighted person in your gang? Can you imagine him getting a gun out? It doesn’t add up.”

The Sun has revealed how Darnell WAS jailed when he violated his probation for being found with a stash of marijuana in 2006. But Pam claimed: “He was stopped with dope but when it went to court the judge gave him community service.

“He didn’t get a prison sentence but they found out he didn’t have the right paperwork and put him in a deportation centre before kicking him out.

She added: “My daughter lives over there so she would have told me if he was involved in gang culture.”

The claims make Darnell look like Elstree’s answer to comedy character Ali G.

Funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen’s creation acts like a street gangster to interview stars, when it’s clear he’s never been involved in crime.

And he always retorts “is it cos I is black?”, if they rumble him.

BB fan Pam has been glued to the box watching her grandson.

But she DOESN’T feel he deserves a shot at winning the £100,000 jackpot on Friday because he bullied Sara so badly.

Darnell fell out of favour with the public by calling the Aussie “a slut” after she turned down his advances. And Pam thinks show bosses should have kicked him out there and then.

She said: “It was a side of him I have not seen before and he was out of order.

“I would not be surprised if they made him go and I would agree with them.

“It was bullying and he took it took far. I was shocked.

“He might be my grandson but I will be telling him off big time when he comes out of the house.”

Pam said even Darnell’s mother turned against him after watching his antics from her home in America.

She added: “She is married to a preacher so she’s not very happy about the language.

“She agreed with me that he’s been a complete idiot.”
