Default Clocks for Housemates

There was an item on Sky News Active today about Clocks for the Housemates.

A Psychiatrist has told the bosses to install clocks in the house to stop the housemates going crazy.

It's not supposed to be good if people don't know the time of day. I seem to remember Paul and Dean trying to make a sundial to tell the time. Not much use if the sun's not out though.

Oooh, interesting. I think they should be allowed the time anyway and I thought that from the start - it doesnt do much harm having a clock.

Totally going off the subject but just something that occurred to me - are the chickens gonna be back? Or is there gonna be new animals!?

I remember this from last year Steve. The BB2 housemates didn't have a clock immediately but were given one once the fire task started, and Wildchild you're right Dean did try to make a sundial cos he didn't like not knowing what the time was.

I remember a similar disccusion last year about how people needed to know the time of day and C4 did allow the clock to stay afterwards.

Yes, I agree that the housemates should be given a clock. It's bad enough being cut off from the outside world, without not knowing what the time is as well.

It would also be beneficial for us watching, because if the housemates know what time it is they'll go to bed at a sensible time and we can get to our beds too!

Wilchild, I'm sure there ARE going to be chickens again this year. Blinkinlovely posted up a description of the inside of the house from Web User Magazine and it said .............. 'and a chicken coup that Channel 4 tells us looks like a chicken but looks more like a sinking, wooden Titanic.'

Hopefully they'll have better luck with the chickens this year - poor Princess Leia.

Apparently, the chicken thing is a feature of all the Big Brothers around the world, and BB creator John de Mol insisted that it be included in this one.
