Default Wedding Task - Failed

Big Brother has informed the housemates they have failed this week's wedding task.

The group were allowed no more than three fails throughout the course of the task - they incurred six.

The housemates passed Day One - providing Hen Night entertainment for Shell with a boy only strip. However, they failed on Day Two with the Stag Night entertainment, as more than one housemate was on the podium during Shell's pole dancing performance and two housemates wore heels on the podium. Shell didn't look too impressed with that news.

On Day Three and the Wedding Preparations the Bride and Bridesmaid passed on their duty to make their dresses, and the Bridesmaid passed on her duty to do the Bride's hair and make-up. Nadia clapped with delight on hearing that piece of information.

Also on Day Three, the groom wasn't allowed to see the Bride in her dress before the ceremony, which the housemates passed, and the Father of the Bride and the Best Man passed on their duty to decorate one tier of the wedding cake each.

...and frustrated

During the Wedding Ceremony itself the Bridesmaid's duty was to walk behind the Bride in the wedding procession, the housemates passed this part of the task. They also passed on the Father of the Bride's duty - Stuart let out a resounding "Yeeeesssss!" - to give away the Bride and they passed on the Best Man's duty to look after the wedding rings. The Clergyman also passed on his duty to write and deliver the wedding service. "That's my job," Jason grinned.

However, the Groom failed to deliver one line of his wedding vows correctly, resulting in one fail and the Chorister didn't perform Pie Jesu to the tune provided, resulting in one fail. Michelle's face dropped to the floor at this news. "Can you believe that they failed me...?" she asked.

Finally for the ceremony, the Bride and Groom's duty was to marry each other and they passed.

When it came to the reception the Father of the Bride, the Groom and the Best Man all wrote and delivered their speeches correctly, meaning this duty was passed.

But the Bride and Groom failed to complete the first dance, and two housemates didn't stay in their entire outfits until the wedding task was over, resulting in two fails. There were lots of sniggers all round when Big Brother informed the housemates they'd failed on the dancing, and a few brave smiles when Big Brother announced that with six fails the housemates won't receive a privilege pass this week, nor will they get a shopping budget for next week.

"I can't believe they failed me." Michelle repeated.

Oh dear...
