Big Brother hunk Dale Howard has sensationally dumped Jennifer Clark after falling for Celebrity BB babe Chantelle Houghton.




The Scouser claims he ended his four-week romance with the BB9 beauty because the relationship had become complicated – she is still legally married and has a child.



But we can reveal that he ditched Jen because he is smitten with dizzy model Chantelle, 25, and has been enjoying secret dates with her. Last night a spokesman for Dale confirmed: “He and Jen are no longer an item.”



Fans had thought that Jen and Dale would be the big love story of Big Brother 9. The couple got flirty in the house and admitted they fancied one another.



After Jen was evicted in July, the muscle-man PE teacher pined for her like mad.



And when he left the house a month later, the pair immediately got together and enjoyed a string of passionate nights in a hotel.



It did not take long for them to announce that they were an item.



Loved-up Dale, 21, said: “It’s just amazing to be with Jen. I’d been pining for her for five weeks and to get her to myself without the Big Brother cameras on us is a real treat.”



And giggly Jen, 22, added: “I joked to Big Brother that if they put a fit man in the house it would be a bonus. I wanted a white knight.



“And maybe Dale is my white knight who has come to save me.”



However, their blossoming romance was beset by troubles.



Jen is still married to David Clark, although they split earlier this year, and they have a baby daughter. After she was evicted from the BB house, rumours spread she had gone back to David, 24.



But she said: “My husband betrayed me and made these claims because he is jealous and

doesn’t want me to be happy. It really hurt me. We are not together.”



Then her romance with Dale hit the skids and Dale started going out on the town with his BB mate Stuart Pilkington, 25.



As they partied away in some of London’s top nightspots, he met up with Celebrity BB winner Chantelle – whose own marriage to CBB star Samuel Preston, 25, ended in disaster.



And this week they were rumbled. As Chantelle left Chinawhite nightclub in central London she tried to sneak into a cab where Dale was waiting for her.


One cabbie revealed: “They set out in separate taxis at first and did their best to lead folk on a wild goose chase to stop anyone seeing them together.



“They didn’t want their romance blown. They didn’t want anyone taking photos of them.”



Last night a spokesman for Dale confirmed he and Jen had split.



He added: “They want to make sure they stay friends to enjoy the finale tonight and the wrap party together next week.”



A spokeswoman for Jen added: “I have been made aware that Jen and Dale are no longer together but I am sure they will always remain great friends.”
