Aw! Sorry to hear that, it's horrible when a pet gets ill. I hope it can make a recovery if not just think it'll be at peace in animal heaven.

Sorry to hear that. It's harder when you've had a pet for such a long time.

I so sorry to hear that.
She may just have a problem with her teeth. Thats a very common problem with older cats and it could be something very simple. have you checked with the vets? |

I hope your cat recovers and turns out to be okay. I hate it when animals become ill its a really sad thing to see. I can't really offer any advice as I never had cats but if you keep putting food infront of your cat, she should eventually begin to start eating a few bites.

I know how you feel, my dog's been ill for a few weeks and I came back from college today to find out he's been put down. |

So have you taken her to a vet? Did the vet say she was dying or are you ust assuming she is 'cause she's not eating?
Old cats, like old people get illnesses that can be treated. She could have something that's easily remedied - like dental problems, digestive problems, anything - and you won't know that until you get her checked out. If cats go without food by the way for any length of time (days to weeks)they can develop hepatic lipidosis (fatty liver disease) - which is very often fatal. So I suggest you let the vet check her out a.s.a.p. if you haven't already done so. |

Awww sorry to hear that, I remember when my Dog died a couple of months ago, he was unwell and off his food then I found him dead in the back yard the next day - it was a complete shock that none of us were prepared for and as you can imagine I was absolutely devastated when I found him.
for you, hope your cat's alright! |
