The EBU has announced that Asia will go ahead with thier version of the Eurovision Song contest in 2009 for the first time ever.

Countries Involved are:
China
Cambodia
Hong Kong
India
Indonesia
Japan
Laos
Macao
Malaysia
Pakistan
Philippines
Singapore
South Korea
Taiwan
Thailand
Vietnam

targeting the most populated continent in the world with a massive 3billion inhabitants.
