Friends & Family: Jason\'s Flatmate
Quote:
We caught up with Jason's flatmate Paul to chat about the big man's stay in the House...
Web: Are you surprised that Jason has lasted so long?
Paul: I am surprised he's lasted so long, to be quite honest, but I think he's grown on the public a lot over the last couple of weeks.
Web: How do you think he is coping after the eviction of his fellow Jungle Cat?
Paul: I think he's been put under quite a lot of pressure because Jason's the type of person who likes his own space, but I think he is coping quite admirably.
Web: What do you make of his relationship with Dan?
Paul: Dan seems like a nice enough character, but there's nothing between them...I don't think he fancies Dan at all because he's not that way inclined. I think he likes the attention Dan gives him.
Web: What did you think when he told BB that he wanted to leave?
Paul: I can genuinely understand. I felt really sorry for him because I knew he wasn't getting along with these people, especially after Victor left, I think he felt that his left arm had been cut off. But he's strong enough to get through it and he'll struggle on.
Web: Jason is convinced that he will be evicted from the BB house tomorrow, how do you think he will feel if he isn't evicted?
Paul: I think he'll be very surprised. I think he's resigned to the fact that he's going now. If he does stay, it will give him a new lease of life for the last week.
Web: Do you think he is capable of lasting the final week in the BB House?
Paul: Yes, I think so, depending on what Big Brother throws at him, I can't see him walking. If he walks now, he's made a grave mistake, but if he gets through tomorrow night then I think he's done great.
Web: Jason has stated that he enjoys his own space, does he always spend so much time on his own?
Paul: Yes...he just likes his own thinking time and I think he gets irritated quite easily with other people and distractions.
Web: What do you think will be the first thing he does when he leaves the BB house?
Paul: He'll probably get drunk with me!
Web: He stated to Dan that his "fun time Frankie" persona had disappeared, do you think it will return anytime while he is still in the House?
Paul: If he isn't voted out this week, then we will definitely see some practical jokes, a bit of fun and laughter, because he will probably think b*****ks to it, I've got one week left, I may as well enjoy it.
Web: As Jason is finding it difficult being in the House at the moment, what words of wisdom would you give him to lift his spirits?
Paul: Stick with it, you've come so far and you've done a good job. Some people like you and some people hate you. You need to start being a bit more 'fun time Frankie' and make people laugh in there and out here so the votes will go his way.
