BIG Brother's Nadia was so handsome as a teenage boy the current Miss Portugal got to hear about it.

Marina Rodrigues grew up in the same tiny village of Campanario in Madeira as sex-swap Nadia - formerly Jorge - and went to the same school.

The 19-year-old, who was crowned this year, told the Mirror she did not know Nadia, 27, but knew her five younger brothers.

Marina said: "From what I hear, Nadia was very handsome when she was a boy. All the young girls were after him." Marina won fame and her title on a TV reality show called Miss Portugal: Dream Woman 2 which was voted for by the public.

She said: "I think it is just coincidence that we both come from such a small place." Marina added: "I think you have to feel good in your body and if Nadia is happy as a woman then that's great."
