Default Leona pushed back?

Quote:
Leona Lewis will again do battle with Britney Spears in the single charts.

Leona's new single "Forgive Me" is released in the UK the day before Britney's "Womanizer". Leona, who's single was pushed back due to a clash with fellow X-Factor winner "Leon Jackson", battled Britney for the Number 1 spot and won with Bleeding Love.

So who's gunna win this year round?
Source

Not much of a source I know, just curious.
Is this true?
It'd be strange, after the whole Xtina vs Britney vs Leona thing.
If it was true, wouldn't that make it Leon&Xtina, Britney&Leona?
Or am I just stupid =|

Why should hers be pushed back because of Leon's? Leon is practically Z list in comparison. He should be pushed back, it's not like it's going to get good sales.

Perhaps because Simon Cowell's an extremely clever man who can get two potential X-Factor number #1s as opposed to only one of them potentially getting it?
&It's probably because Leon's scheduled for the first live show.

Not sure, I think Xtina would beat Leon, but Leona will beat Britney.

He will for his first proper single (I don't count the winners single as proper) because he's performing it on X Factor, but I really don't think it will be anywhere near as successful as Bleeding Love and it wouldn't surprise me if Leon was knocked off the number 1 spot after a week or two. Leona is also performing hers on X Factor, and she is bigger so will probably get better sales. Britney and Girls Aloud are also performing on X Factor, so they will have pretty good sales too.

This will probably be true, remember that they are both on the same record label (I think) and after following a certain artist myself (Kelly) you start to realize record companies prefer one date for each artist therefore more chance to rake in more money and get more number ones.

Its not who is better... its who is on the same record label. Plus there could be loads of reason why Leon is coming first... probably because his single cant go up against britney whereas Leona can!

In all honesty he was never the biggest fan of Leon as we saw during the live shows and it's unlikely he'll get a number one but you never know. I'm just glad that he's scheduled for the first show - get his performance over and done with.

I don't think Leon will get number one. I haven't seen or head the song ANYWHERE. Apart from when it first got online.

I officially HATE whoever has made the decision to push back her cheap single. It's obvious she'll get number one, Britney deserves it much more than Leona.

All of them are good songs so I don't really mind, though I do think that is a bit sneaky of Leona's management to do that..

I hope Christina tops them all.

How is it obvious and how does Britney deserve it more? I'm a great Britney fan myself and know that her fanbase excells Leona's, so Britney has nothing to worry about on those terms. Leona's single is just as good as Britney's. Don't let being a superfan cloud your judgement.

Sorry but I love Forgive Me, but it's nothing compared to Bleeding Love and Better In Time. She's tried to be more up beat in Forgive Me, and I know a lot of Leona fans don't like/never used to like the song. I love Leona but Forgive Me is not worthy of number 1 imo.

I think it's better than Better In Time because the majority of the songs she has released have had a kind of depressive feel to them, going from the downside of love, to somewhat getting better and now this - well this is like the up-tempo song she needs. I think it'll be received well, I know BIT reached #2 in the charts but it was competing with Footprints In The Sand so it didn't get as much recognition as this song could/will. Do you get what I mean? I'm not trying to offend you/scrap your opinions or anything.
