\'X Factor\' Lorenzo fears UK rejection
Ruth Lorenzo has revealed that she hopes the British public come to accept her as she attempts to reach the final 12 on The X Factor.
The Spanish singer, who now lives in Ashtead, Surrey, is worried that her nationality will hold her back in the popularity stakes.
"I sometimes feel like I’m not going to be accepted by the British people, I really want the British people to say I am OK," she says on this week's show.
Lorenzo is being mentored by Dannii Minogue and Emma Bunton, who are reduced to tears by her rendition of 'True Colours' in both English and Spanish.
Minogue responds: "That is everything you want in performance, showing real emotion, but would she be able to cope with the live shows?"
The X Factor airs at 7.45pm tomorrow night on ITV1.
