Developer Konami is considering an Xbox 360 version of Metal Gear Solid 4 due to popular demand.

Translated by Kotaku, Konami PR spokesperson Yoshitaka Arai told Morningstar: "The worldwide demand for an Xbox 360 version [of MGS4] is quite high, and it is something we are currently looking into."

Rumours and speculation of the PS3 title moving to 360 has been ongoing throughout development, with Konami denying the idea due to hardware and storage difficulties.

This follows two other PlayStation franchises - Tekken and Final Fantasy - moving to the 360 in recent months.
