Default Anyone else have this really embarrasing problem?

OK, the title is probably a bit misleading as you might think it is something ''medical''.

Anyhoop,

Like the problem is, I can be in like a really important situation like a funeral or a really quiet exam class and just burst out laughing at something that happened years ago!

Anyone else?

Yeah. It was terrible. It was the funeral of my uncle's friend and I was thinking back to something that happened when I was like.. nine, and I burst out laughing.

My mum was raged!..Later on, she saw the funny side of it.

When my mum called me to say my gran was in hospital and that we all needed to get there ASAP. I just drove straight there laughing all the way cos if I didnt - I know I would cry.

I also laughed so much during sex once that I couldnt carry on cos i was like crying with laughter.

I laugh all the time actually. Maybe I should stop that.

...not at funerals, but during exams/tests I usually always start laughing thinking about things that happened the other day or sometimes the other year.

I've laughed at innapropriate moments a fair few times.Just before the start of exams rather than think about the exam, I'd just start day-dreaming and something funny would usually come to mind and I'd be chuckling.I'm sure some people thought I'd gone mad

I love that idea, it made me laugh. You just got to die laughing at funerals, there are dead people buried there and nobody is laughing usually are they so it's so funny

This is called corpsing, because it is done at funerals, and is mostly used to reference to a certain type of out take, where the cast burst out laughing when trying to film a scene.

It is most likely what we call a distraction activity which hits during periods of high stress. From my understanding, something in the brain overloads causing this to occur. It was detailed in [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Naked_Ape]The Naked Ape[/url by Desmond Morris

Yeah, Sticks. I know what you mean. Because it was such a horrible moment (funeral) I was thinking about something funny, then I laughed.

Yep. I've laughed during funerals, exams, films in the cinema, during speeches, speaking to important people... I'm terrible for it. These things are only funny because they're not meant to be funny? If you get what I mean. Don't worry, you're not alone!
