For one housemate, tonight's post-eviction disco has unleashed an outburst of emotion.
But brave Nadia continued to dance through the remainder of both Madonna's La Isla Bonita and her tears - the latter brought on by her absolute shock at having survived yet another public vote. She managed to hold it together throughout Candi Staton's You Got The Love and Busted's What I Go To School For (a tribute to the recently departed). But when the familiar lyrics of Madonna's Spanish love ballad came floating into the lounge, the little lady from Portugal could contain her feelings no longer, and began to sob uncontrollably. Perhaps because they believed Nadia's sudden wailing to be connected somehow to the Latin roots of the current number, the other housemates urged their wailing pal to continue dancing through to the end of the song. "You can do it!" urged Shell. "It's a shock to be here" But once the track was over, they soon realised the real reason why Nadia had been on the brink of walking off the dance floor. "It's a shock to be here!" she sobbed into her hands. As her pals rallied around to offer their support, Jason did his bit by urging Big Brother to crank up a "happy tune" - Video Killed The Radio Star being his first choice. But when his musical request failed to bear fruit, Nadia trooped to the garden, slumped on the patio chair and whispered a frail "thank you" to the night sky. After giving her nose a hearty wipe on the hem of her dress and being joined once more by her friends, she was soon back to normal, and puffing happily on one of her beloved fags. No more tears.
