Well as you have had the bypass and it was a 100% success I would not expect you to see it as a joke. Jesus.

"just would you really want her with someone your own age?"

Who said anything about being with? We were on about perving and I would not like anyone of any age perving over my daughter. I accept it could happen though.

It wasn't a bypass on my part, I've got a good sense of humour but not when its put seriously in a thread with no indication at all, and starting with a valid point. I wasn't the only one either

Ok moving on swiftly from who has and has not made a joke that someone didnt get!!!!

I think that most bigger women are beautiful and magazines, newspapers etc should show "real" women, by that I mean every day women who are not like stick insects. I know many women are naturally thin and there feels like there is no justice to those of us who fight a daily battle but they look well with their size (generally lol) My hubby prefers women with a little meat as he says it, he preferred me at a size 14 to any other size bless him.

going on from this a bit has anyone seen goks new program miss naked beauty they were last week campaigning for shops to have a size 14 model doll thing in the window so that women can see what the clothes look like on a average size girl instead of the twigs they have now and on the most part the shops were very open to the idea so maybe things could be on the change and a more realistic outlook is on the horizan

The burning question is! are they going to do this.? Are they actually going to put mannequins of this size in the shops.I'm sure if they did it would boost sales. Fashion is a big part of my life as i am an ex model lol.

they did a trial run and i think one of the big chains on oxford street said that they are going to look into it but really really liked it (they had some team members outside asking shoppers and got a pretty much clear sweep of those saying yes for size 14 models in windows)

i do agree that it shouldnt even be a thinking about issue but then in all media etc size 0 is always very much favoured along with airbrushing etc that i think it will be a tough habit to break and whoever originally thought size 0 would be a good marketing idea imo got it wrong

Id say it was good to have a good balance

there still should be slim women in there a many as bigger ones,

mate... Nurse57 was clearly having a laugh .. how did you and Sting miss it?
Nurse57 next time you present your points with your tongue planted firmly in your cheek why not try it in the form of a knock knock joke.... hehe that way you won't alienate 95% of your audience here on TIBB

I agree with you too. People come in different sizes and different shapes, all are equally sexy. My theory is sex appeal has nothing to do with how you look, it is how you are.

A larger woman can be tempting seductress.... beautiful to behold and fun to uncover and indulge oneself in.

If you look at the movie stars from the 1950's, who were the sex icons of there age, most of them weren't stick insects, they were well rounded natural women.
Yeah dude you've contradicted yourself....
" sex appeal has nothing to do with how you look" yet you point to how "well rounded natural women" in the 50's looked! hehe

ps not sure you get how newspapers work ... they are image based!!!! That's why they use women who "LOOK" hot and not women who may be beautiful on the inside. So yeah larger women may indeed be very sexy once you get to know them but you'd have to agree that won't really come across on a purely text and image based medium.
Oh and FYI newspapers are in the business of MAKING money ....there's no money in breaking down sexist stereotypes of the "ideal women" that perpetuate body fascism.
