Big Brother\'s big money deals
Quote:
Tabloid newspaper chiefs will open their Big Brother chequebooks for the last time tonight, with one final set of auctions for the stories of the four final housemates.
Some of the contestants are expected to walk straight into a six figure deal with newspapers and magazines irrespective of whether they win or not.
But behind the scenes there will be another big winner - Davina McCall's agent, John Noel.
Mr Noel, who also represents Big Brother's Little Brother presenter Dermot O'Leary, has emerged as a powerful figure after every Friday night's eviction.
He has been on the scenes since the first series ofthe show - and still represents Big Brother 3 contestant Jade Goody, who is estimated to have earned more than £1m in TV, newspaper deals and other promotions.
And so far he is representing three of the housemates to be evicted from this series. He first sold Victor's story to the Star and Zoo magazine and clinched a deal for him to be the Sun's Big Brother columnist.
Last week he secured a £125,000 deal for would-be glamour model Michelle Bass with Richard Desmond's titles, OK! magazine, the Daily Star and Star on Sunday. Yesterday Mr Noel snapped up Ms Bass's lovemate, Stuart Wilson, in a similar deal with Mr Desmond believed to be worth around £100,000.
It is understood that Bass will pick up another bonus for agreeing to do the reunion photo-shoot and story.
