No respectable person would go on Big Brother without thinking of the consequences. The one exception is Celebrity Hijack. None of them drooled over the thought of being in the tabloids after their journey, and they probably won't be counted as a "real" Big Brother. They're the lucky ones.

Most are just after their 15 minutes when they get out of the house. It's their own fault.

But yes, if you want your privacy invaded for about 2 months and then rejections for jobs in the UK the rest of your life, Big Brother is for you.

..but that doesn't mean I'm discouraging people from going on it.

Great reply Rory and i concur ,the only thing i dissagree with is not discouraging people from going into the house, i'd like to see it canceled.i haven't been in the house but have some unpleasent memories from supporting the show regards Sting.

Big Brother has had just as many people that cam out of that house happy as he has total wrecks. If you don't like the show, then **** the forum for BB fans.

People got wise years ago, if you're only just clicking on now you either have only just started watching the show or you're very slow

Well yes, but all of them to some degree have a disadvantage when looking for jobs because they were 'on Big Brother'. The After They Were Housemates segment was just painful to watch because none of them have been really that successful, and the ones who have made a fortune have done it by either humiliating themselves and acting like a total idiot or just posed for a whole bunch of men's magazines: hardly a respectable job.

There's no positive side to life outside of the house, to be honest.

Anyone from BB4-BB1 could easily get a job! Bar Jade, Kate and Brian, obv. Look at Helen Adams, she's running a very successful hair salon.

Hi P how many people can you honestly remember (off the top of your head) that have made it since coming out of the house.

Well would you be applying for BB1-4? Nah. You'd be applying for BB10, where you definitely could not get a job even if you're the classiest of them all.

I'm happy to see that not everyone is brain washed by the thought of making it big after BB, and that many are realising that it does ruin lives more than makes them better

Ive always been aware of that still love it tho! If they dont realise what theyre signing themselves up for by now, then more fool them for being fame hungry numpties with no talent, as theyre the ones that ultimately go nowhere like they were ever going to cmon!!

Theres something else i don't like about BB, its not just the chance of having your life ruined if you go in the house, its the way they treat people who get involved in the shows ,When you think about it they don't really give a monkeys do they ? as long as they get the veiwers.

I wouldnt go that far they have psychologists on there to help anyone, they know what the deal is, its telly and theyre going to show your bad bits, they know what theyre signing up for! If you go on there thinking your going to have all your dreams fullfilled but you actually have no talent and are a bit of a nob then maybe its a good thing in a way, theyll learn then hard way! and there are so many more people to feel sorry for than a few wannabes! Did you know theres 1000s of men women and children dying in the Congo right now!?
