Default Money Saving Advice

As the Credit Crunch is constantly in the media, I thought we should make a thread of ways people can earn and save money in this time of great need

So, any suggestions?

If you smoke, stop.
Don't visit prostitutes.
Stop buying drugs.
Sell your children.

I guess brand shopping is good, if when getting food you go cheaper.

A good one for students -
When I go in college, if I have my wallet on me I spend wayy more on food, even if I aint that hungry, whearas if I take in just a certain amount, I save loadsss.

brand shopping does save loads and value etc doesnt taste bad has certainly improved lots from when it was first introduced
also with the taking certain amount of money if you took own food in it would be even cheaper

Empty your wallet of change everytime you come home and put it in a jar. Svaed like £50 in a month doing this.
