Minogue: I\'ll be back for more \'X Factor\'
Dannii Minogue has insisted that she will return for another series of The X Factor.
Rumours recently surfaced claiming that the judge will be replaced by a young male music star on the ITV talent show.
However, Minogue told Metro that Simon Cowell has reassured her that she will return next year.
"I don't pay attention to what everyone says," she commented. "I am oblivious to the taunts. I just go to work and do my job and that's all I'm focused on. I want to do it next year and I will be. As far as everyone involved is, that is the plan and Simon has said so."
Minogue also brushed aside rumours of a feud with Cheryl Cole, claiming that the atmosphere between the judges is much more civil than last year when she clashed with Sharon Osbourne.
"This year is not as bad as last year because at least life on set is fun and everyone gets on. Last year was awful," she said.
She also spoke about the storm that has engulfed her relationship with protégé Rachel Hylton, 26, saying: 'Rachel's come a long way and she does have a say in her songs. She has a personality that need to be guided a little for the competition.
'When people say this stuff about us, it hurts me not for myself but is affecting her chances on the show because it's distracting. I don't know where all these stories come from. It's all bulls***'.
