Ok, its a blog (seemingly real) about a cave and something inside a deep part of the cave, the blog ended in 2001, and hasnt been updated since

Probably, but he went into a small tunnel (which he digs) and came out at the other side

although, he describes a scream coming out of the hole while they are tunneling, the sound of sliding rocks, a breeze, and rumbling coming from inside

He later says the breeze smells like death (the point where he is running from the thing coming after him)

He escaped from the thing, but he describes how he began seeing shadowy figures out of the corner of his eyes, and then seeing it full on, thats why he goes back one last time
