BIG Brother star Jade Goody has launched a £400,000 legal battle against her former lover Jeff Brazier.

The warring couple are fighting over their former family HOUSE, LUXURY CAR and SUNBED SHOP.

Now Jade, 23, has called in lawyers to make sure she doesn't lose a penny of her investment - in particular their £300,000 home in Harlow, Essex.

A close pal said: "Jeff wants a half share of the house and Jade is just not having it.

"She put up most of the money from her Big Brother earnings and thinks it's only right she should get the lion's share."

According to her pal, Jade was also paying the HP on Jeff's BMW convertible.

The source said: "She sold it for £30,000 to a car dealer but Jeff was annoyed and told her she could have got £5,000 more if she'd sold it privately."

Then the couple rowed over their sunbed shop in South Woodford, Essex. The pal said: "Jeff has managed the shop from the start. He feels it's his place and he's not willing to hand it over to Jade.

"But as far as she's concerned Jeff is not going to get a 50/50 split. It's been getting nasty and Jade has instructed a lawyer to make sure she keeps hold of her money."

The pair - who have a one-year-old son Bobby and another child due in October - split in May after a blazing row which ended in them both being arrested.

Since starring in Big Brother 3 two years ago, Jade has earned over £1million from media deals, TV appearances and fitness videos.

Jeff's career as a TV presenter has been far less lucrative although he has recently appeared on ITV1's Simply The Best and on Living TV.
