The day I\'m A Celebrity Robert Kilroy-Silk was forced to shut his mouth
Quote:
The day I'm A Celebrity Robert Kilroy-Silk was forced to shut his mouth s a former MP Robert Kilroy-Silk must have had a few close encounters with snakes.
And during years as a low-rent talkshow host, he's probably talked down to his fair share of crawling things.
So perhaps he was better prepared than some of his fellow contestants for the latest Bushtucker Trial on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!
Kilroy-Silk was put in a Perspex suit and secured in position, while snakes, eels and bugs were showered over him.
The suit was split in into six compartments, for his legs, arms, torso and head.
The jungle creatures were added to the compartments, each one of which was worth either one or two stars.
To win all ten stars and a meal for fellow contestants, he had to stay put for ten minutes. He said: 'I don't want to do it - I've got to do it.'
Kilroy-Silk, who is now an independent MEP, winced with disgust and shouted out as the creatures slid over his face and body, some heading for his nether regions.
It was not clear what type of bugs they were - or whether he was able to remove them without assistance from the camp's doctor.
Viewers will be able to see the outcome of the challenge in tonight's episode.
