Down in the dumps Kerry Katona emerges from house as hopes of singing comeback left in tatters Kerry Katona emerged from her house yesterday looking down in the dumps following news MTV has scrapped her new TV show amid growing concerns for her health.
Kerry, 28, was set to make a music comeback by jetting to Nashville in America.
But the programme has been put on hold, fearing she is not well enough to take part.
An MTV source told The Sun: 'Kerry is in no fit state to make a show.
'We have to wait and see how she fares in the immediate future. We want to see if she can start taking care of herself.'
The mother-of-four will now film one more special for the channel before taking a break.
Yesterday, she was spotted outside her home in Wilmslow, Cheshire, with husband Mark Croft.
She donned a bobble hat and scarf and a grey overcoat while Croft walked ahead of her looking stern.
MTV last followed the Iceland mother for the one-off programme Whole Again when she had £15,000 of weight loss surgery.
But she has since admitted being an alcoholic after she slurred her way through an interview on This Morning with Fern Britton and Philip Schofield in front of millions of viewers.
Speaking of her problems with addiction, she has admitted: 'I was drinking and doing drugs because my life was such a mess.
'I just *******ed myself up with cocaine and booze. I was completely out of control.'
Meanwhile former Big Brother star Jade Goody yesterday urged Kerry's ex-husband Brian McFadden to take custody of her two oldest daughters.
Jade, who is fighting cancer, said: 'Maybe the kids should stay with Brian for a bit while Kerry gets back on her feet.'
But she praised Kerry for admitting her alcohol problem.
