We get high... on sugary treats
Quote:
We get high... on sugary treats SAME DIFFERENCE really are as sugar-coated as their deliciously decadent dance routines.
The brother and sister act, made up of big bruv SEAN and lil' sis SARAH SMITH, get their highs from munching Haribo instead of ordering from their local dealer.
Chatting about their energetic video for debut single We R One, Sean said: "After every take I was absolutely knackered and there was no time to rest as someone was always yelling, 'Ok, time to go again!'
"It was the biggest workout I have ever had in my entire life. But because we were over in LA there were sweets and sweets everywhere.
"All day, after every take, I had a whole load of sweets like Jelly Bellys to try and keep my energy levels up."
Cheeky Sarah also revealed her sibling developed something of a crush on one of their dancers.
She grinned: "Sean fell in love in LA!"
Sean said: "We had a different set of dancers to the ones in UK and all the lads would have a chat saying, 'Which one do you like?'
"One of them was so hot it was untrue. She's out my life now. We went our separate ways.
"I didn't tell her, I should've done when I was there and maybe we could've been pen friends."
But love interests aside, the double act face their first public reaction since appearing on the ITV show this weekend when their song charts on Sunday.
Sean said: "We're still carrying on from what we did on X Factor in that we have big dance routines and great pop songs.
"It seems to be working for us so why change it, but I do feel this year we've turned into artists."
Sarah added: "We still have that X Factor tag, but everyone who has been on it will have until they've completely proven themselves.
Sean agreed: "People remember LEONA was from the X Factor even though she's more than an artist now in her own right.
"It takes a long while to completely lose it like WILL YOUNG has."
And their advice to the next generation of auditionees is to "follow their dreams, anything is possible, but be realistic".
Sarah said: "We know what we are and what we do best. We're not going to be like, 'We're Same Difference, we're going to be a massive rock act!
"Have your goals and try to achieve them. We know we're never going to be rock stars but we can be great pop performers."
A modest Sean giggled: "But you shouldn't really take our advice as we came third."
