Carly's first smile: WAG leaves the jungle after her constant crying fails to impress on I'm A Celebrity

She has cried constantly since she entered the jungle, and repeatedly talked of her homesickness, so it was no surprise when Carly Zucker became the third person to leave last night.

The I'm a Celebrity resident WAG managed to last 14 days, and cried on practically every one of them. But when it came time to leave she burst into a radiant smile.

She told Ant and Dec 'unfortunately' she was happy to be leaving, before tipping new best friend Nicola Mclean to win.

'I Just really struggled, it isn't exactly how I imagined it to be,' she admitted. 'I'm a family person so I really missed my partner and my family a lot.'

The 24-year-old became engaged to Chelsea and England midfielder Joe Cole a year ago after he proposed over dinner at London celebrity haunt The Ivy.

They have been dating for six years and live together at their Surrey mansion.

Carly said one good thing about her time in the jungle was the friendships she made.

'I made some really good friends,' she said. 'And I learnt a lot of things and I got some really good experiences out of it.

'Meeting Nicola has changed me because we're really different people and she's really opened me up to different things.

'To be honest it was mainly Nicola that I relied on. Me and Nicola are going to be true friends when we're out of here.'

But one person Carly won't miss is Eighties singer David Van Day. 'David does thing for reactions,' she said. 'I think he's a very selfish person. He says things and then has a smug look on his face.'

After seeing a montage of her best bits in camp, including a spider crawling over her face, Carly was left in shock.
'Oh my god, oh my god, really!' she exclaimed. 'I'm fine, I'm just shocked, oh my god!'

And Carly then left the camp to be met by a sea of paparazzi, and her smiling sister.

The remaining celebrities are set for a shock on tonight's show, when it will be announced that the two celebrities with the fewest votes will go head to head in a bushtucker trial, with the loser leaving camp immediately.
