The final four acts in this year's X Factor have performed for competition winners at a secret gig.

Eoghan Quigg, Alexandra Burke, Diana Vickers and JLS sang before 28 fans in the basement of a Carphone Warehouse on Oxford Street in London.

Show favourite Burke said afterwards that she was surprised that bookmakers are now backing her to win the contest. "It's very, very scary. I got that news yesterday. It actually shocked me as I wasn't expecting that," she said.

Meanwhile, 16-year-old Quigg again denied rumours that he is secretly dating fellow singer Vickers, claiming that their bond is merely platonic.

He said: "We're really good friends. Ruth and Alex were good friends, and JLS have got each other. She's not my type anyway!"

Maybe the stories about Eoghan and Diana are true then? And Aston has also lost his voice, so all of JLS could be singing on saturday.

I hope all of JLS sing on Saturday, I've disliked them more and more since Aston started to take the lead. Nothing against him, I just don't like it when bands have one person doing all the main vocals and the rest just backing singers.

I don't have a problem that one of them takes the lead, I just wonder sometimes if they have picked the right person.

Now and again I have thought Aston is vocally weak and at other times he is okay. It happened last week, in the Britney song when he didn't seem to give 100% and then when it came to the second song he really did well.

Now if his voice was bad because an infection that might have been the reason for the poor vocal, but it's not like the first time this has happened.

I have to agree with you, I dont like it either. But in my opinion, it did work for baby one more time.

I found, it but didn't post it as I try not post stuff from DS. Being that DS basically another version of TiBB, I think it would be unfair of me, given I'm a mod, to post thier stuff so I leave it to others.

The video of the gig was on GMTV today, Alexandra sounded amazing and Diana was back to her normal self singing Call Me and Man In the Mirror, sounded like she did in the first 4 weeks

I have to agree, I hate how they've stopped being JLS and are slowly becoming "Aston and the backing boys"

Astons vocals going down could potentially save them IMO. Not in a bad way because Aston is a good singer, but the good thing about the group is all the voices, not just one.
