X Factor's Eoghan and Diana glam up for a romantic date... as they continue to insist they're 'just friends' Despite frequently insisting they're 'just friends', X Factor contestants Diana Vickers and Eoghan Quigg are continuing to fuel rumours of a romantic relationship.
A week after the teens were spotted arriving back to the X Factor house late at night in a taxi, with Eoghan clutching a red rose, they have been spotted out again.
Earlier this evening, Diana and Eoghan dressed up to the nines for what looked like another night out for two.
Eoghan, 16, wrapped up warm with a coat over his smart black shirt and trousers.
Meanwhile, 17-year-old Diana looked freezing as she left the north London house wearing a glamorous black halterneck dress and oddly opted to carry her coat instead of wearing it - despite the chilly five degrees temperature.
The youngsters declined to say where they were going so dressed up, but it appeared none of the remaining contestants Alexandra Burke or JLS bandmembers Aston Merrygold, Jonathan 'J.B.' Gill, Marvin Humes and Oritse Williams were joining them.
Despite persistent rumours Diana is dating Northern Irish singer Eoghan, she insists they are just friends and she is in love with her 18-year-old boyfriend Chris Jones, who travels down from Manchester to support her every weekend.
Diana said last week: 'We're just like bezzie mates, like little brother and sister.
'Chris has met Eoghan a couple of times and they get on well. It's fine.'
Regardless of the nature of their relationship, the pair will have plenty of talk about following a lukewarm response from judges over their performances on Saturday.
Simon Cowell told Diana her performance of I'm Not A Girl (Not Yet A Woman) 'did not work. I think you're in trouble tonight'.
And Eoghan's version of Sometimes also didn't go down well with judges.
Dannii Minogue said: 'I did not think it was a strong performance. Not as good as your performance last week'.
