Simon Cowell may give up TV work

'X Factor' and 'American Idol' judge Simon Cowell has said that he may quit doing television work.

The music mogul told Live magazine that he had no intention of retiring yet but said that he may take a back seat where TV projects are concerned.

Cowell said: "I'm definitely not retiring. But I am going to make a couple of changes."


"The contracts are all up at the end of next year and what I may well do is stop actually being on TV. Give up the panel."

"The thing that gets me is the schedule. Every day of my week is filled for the next year," he said.

Well he has said after 2010 he isn't doing X Factor anymore
The problem is without Simon on the panel these shows would never be as successful.

He might not be seen but it does not mean he isn't part of it,the TV shows he works on earn him to much money for him to give them up completely.
