Big Brother 5 - Dan

Dan took some time out from his hectic first week out of the Big Brother house and came in for a webchat...

Chat Ed : Thanks for joining us everyone…. And here to do his webchat after 10 weeks in the Big Brother house is Dan!

Dan : Hello you beautiful campers!

Emilee : Hellooooo darling dan! You look ravishing today!!!

Zoe : what are your plans now you’re free?

Dan : I am straight back in the studio with my band because if I'm going to release something it has to be exactly right. And I'm having meetings with lots of record labels to try and seek out the right deal. Also, at the other end of the scale, I'm doing Ready, Steady, Cook!
Dan laughs

Emilee : ooh good luck with the singing dan!
Action Dan : Did you hear Nadias secret over the wall?

Dan : No. Everybody says that I did hear it and that I was lying but all I heard were muffled shouts and Nadia's name. I didn't actually hear what they were saying.

Dan_ur_sexy : who did u like best, the lipgloss pregnant doges or the jungle cats?

Dan : The lipgloss pregnant doges! I don't buy into all that male bravado s**t!

StacyDanFan : Hey Dan, who did you find it hardest to get on with in the house?

Dan : It was definitely Ahmed because we had no common ground really and I can't stand hypocrites and then there was Becki and she was just too nice.

Abz-Mad DanNad Fan! : Yo dan darling i think it is amazing how you can practically recite nearly every episode of AbFab off by heart !!!! Who is your fave abfab character ??!!

Dan laughs!
Dan : It was for Nadia’s benefit because she loved the show as well. My favourite character has to be Edwina of course! There have been so many great lines in that show that I couldn't pick a best one out. Although 'Drop the attitude, you only work in a shop, darling!' is a great one. That was from the 'New Best Friend' episode.

Charli : Dan who did you fancy most in the house??
XxXDanRocksXxX : Hey, you and Jason were very flirtatious together, did you find him attractive at all?

Dan : Yeah Jason is a very attractive and so is Stuart but that doesn't mean I wanted to do stuff with either of them

Dan : Who?!

littlemissclarke : Which housemates are you keeping in contact with?
Martin : lol

Dan : Nadia and Shell and apparently I've had heat magazine on the phone today and I've started a new celeb craze with that hairstyle, so I'm very proud of Shell for showing that off.

Charli : Dan what would you have done if you had won?? Would you have been happy?

Dan : Um... difficult one. If I had won then that's the nation speaking and even though I would have been very uncomfortable with it, it would have been something I would have accepted.

stu rocks!!!!!! : dan why did you want to go in the big brother house?

Dan : Because I didn't need to win that show... I got out of it what I wanted. It's not always about the winning you know!

Xsteph : What one thing do you miss from the bb house?

Dan : Ooh, I miss the bubble thing - being protected by this bubble we lived in and I miss the sexy Big Brother voices.

Abbie_BB5LOVER : would you have liked to be in the bedsit, and how would you have felt if you'd had to give someone a Judas Kiss like BeckI?? who out of everyone would you have chosen and why??

Dan : I felt really sorry for Becki.... She was put under a lot of pressure, but I wouldn't have minded giving Ahmed a Judas kiss.

Emilee : haha! i think the public is with u on that one!

Dan : I would have loved the bedsit - that would have been wicked! Although, not really with Emma - in such a confined space.

smokebuster : how have your friends reacted to your time in the house?
XxXDanRocksXxX : Have your family and friends respected everything you did in the house?

Dan : Really great, although it's weird for them because everyone else in the BB house to them is now a famous celebrity and I'm still Dan to them and they can't get their heads around it.

Nutronic : if you could go back into the house what would you do differently and why?
Dans the man!! : Did you take anything from the house as a memento?

Dan : Yes, I took a few of the laminates and my microphone holder and the tie that I wore when I was inside the TV screen. If I went back in I would be more outspoken earlier on.

XxXDanRocksXxX : You rebelled against bb for nominations, which was really brave, what did you personally think that the one nomination was for and if you new it was for a reward would you have done it?

Dan : We knew it was to cause conflict within the group and there was enough conflict in that house thank you very much. So no, I'm glad I stuck by my guns.

Liz In Doncaster : where did you get that dressing gown dan? i love it
Person200 : I love your black hat!

Dan : Ah ha! I think it was a present and was from plain old M&S!

Nads_is_Tops : would you compare yourself to any famous person?

Dan : Not really, no. I said in my BBLB pack interview that it's very difficult for me because there's never really been anybody like me before, or ever again!

dave : what celebrity would you love to meet?

Dan : Oooh, err.. I'm at a gig with Blue on the 26th and I shall be thanking Simon for his support. But apart form that I've kind of met everybody I want to meet.

IloveDan!!!!! : Did you have any idea that Big Brother was getting evil this year?

Dan : Yes I did actually and I can't remember how I found out, but I actually guessed anyway when they filled the garden with sweets and chocolate and then the task involved a roundabout.

xxx jason fan xxx : dan who did u tink d big brother mole was

Dan : I kind of knew that it was a set up - the newspaper was far too well-placed to have just been left there. There was nobody in that house intelligent enough to be a mole.

Fabienne : How do you see yourself in 6 months ?
Bhavithra : what has big brother taught you since you have left the house?

Dan : Music is my first ever love, so that means more to me than anything in the whole world. Big Brother has taught me to be more tolerant of people. And how to make bread

lp001 : How did you feel with the whole Stuart/Michelle story and was it real?

Dan : Yes I think it's real...

Martin : awwwww

Dan : And I wish them every luck because they are going to need it.

Hanalouise : do u think jason is really bisexual or is it a lie as he said it was for auditioning purposes
littlemissclarke : i think he fancied you dan!

Dan : Well he also said it in the show - so he was lying then, when he said he never said it. I just think he's got some issues he needs to iron out.

penny : what was ur most hardest moment in the house
dan man : do u have an embarrassing moment
Martin : The Moths!!!

Dan : Having nobody to really talk to. I was solving everyone else's problems and taking on board all the negativity but all I really had to speak to was the robot known as Big Brother.

BeckyWithernsea : could you see much of the outside world from the garden?

Dan : No, it was just the perimeter fence, I couldn't even see Tescos!

Dan Rulez : Have you watched any big brother since you came out of the house??

Dan : Yes I have. I saw the episode where Marco was splashing around in the jacuzzi with the headscarf on and then picked up the broom, which I thought was absolutely hilarious. And I've seen the first episode now too.

Chicken Noodle Soup : in what order would you have evicted people

Dan : Good question! Now we are talking! Let's see....Ahmed first, Becki, Jason, Michelle, Stu, Vanessa - she was too beautiful, Emma, Victor, Marco, Kitten, Shell, Leaving Nadia to win.

BIGBROTHERFAN : did you like seeing yourself on television?
granny on a frosty m : do you think you have been portrayed positively in the media?

Dan : For now I have been portrayed positively in the media. I'm just dreading when they start really digging!

Chat Ed : Our time with DAN is almost up, so last few questions now...

Dan : I'm kind of used to seeing myself on TV although I'm still not comfortable with it.

dan ur so sexy!!! : have u ever considered being a tv presenter-ud make such a good one

Dan : Aww! Bless! Yes I have considered presenting and I await the thousands of offers to come flooding in!

Catty : what was your favourite task and why?

Dan : Fast food because we could eat the food! And the wedding because we got two parties, even though there were only really four of us speaking because Victor and Jason were being grumpy.

Liz In Doncaster : what question are you most fed up of being asked?

Dan : Another great question! My God you lot know what you're talking about. 'Did you hear what people shouted over the wall?'

steph222 : Would you do it all over again?

Dan : Absolutely 100% yes, but certainly not in the near future and not for ten weeks. Time for me to be off now - nice to talk to you all you beautiful people and I am sorry that you only got half an hour because I'm worthy of a lot more!
