But in the real world Louis Walsh seems to have forgotten that he needs to stick to the rules.
The judge returned to his Maserati Gran Turismo sports car last night to find a large no parking sticker stuck on the window.
He had left the £75,000 car parked on double yellow lines in Dublin. Of course, with his lucrative X Factor contract, Louis could easily afford to pay for a parking ticket.
But having avoided one a bemused Louis simply pealed off the sticker before climbing in the car.
At the weekend Louis appeared thrilled by the performance of singer Britney Spears, who appeared on the X Factor show.
At one point Britney jumped in front of Louis, shaking her scantily clad behind as he grinned appreciatively.
