Default Dannii: It\'s a very strange feeling

Quote:
Dannii: It's a very strange feeling
Dannii Minogue has admitted she's upset to be the only X Factor judge without an act in the final.
JLS, Alexandra Burke and Eoghan Quigg will battle it out for a recording contract on Saturday - but Dannii's acts have all been booted from the show already.

"I really don't want to be sitting here without one of my artists. It's a very strange feeling," she said.

But it looks as if Dannii will have another chance, as Simon Cowell denied rumours she would be kicked off the judging panel.

"We've got to get the contracts sorted out but I would be surprised if it was a different line-up," he said.

The finalists are now getting ready to take to the stage in the final, but seem to be coping with the nerves.

Alex, 20, said she wasn't going to let the fact she is the bookies' favourite affect her performance.

"The bookies' favourite to win changes every week, it changes all the time. So to me it absolutely means nothing. As Simon said it's all about your performance on the night," she said.

Eoghan, 16, said he wasn't nervous, and boy band JLS said they wanted to be the first group to win The X Factor.

"This is the biggest moment of our lives. We've shared this experience so far together and we'd like to hopefully make X Factor history and hopefully we can be the first group ever to win the show," said Ortise.

Yes Daniel's elimination was a shocker, can't believe he isn't in the final.

I hope Danni's contract isn't renewed anyway, she tries to add fun to the panel but she's really cringeworthy.

Ruth was robbed. Ewok shouldn't be there AT ALL. He's there purely through teenage girls picking up their mobiles. He's not even that good compared to others who have been in the live finals.

Omg if he wins it'll be a shambles.

Well she would have been in the final if it was a talent show, but it's not and she didn't have the regional support of the other acts so she left. It's a shame, I would have liked to have seen her in the final 4 at least, she had an incredibly powerful voice and pulled of solid performances week after week and she was still improving.

I agree if egg head wins then it prove the X-Factor format is finished.

Very well said. She chooses the right acts and doesnt always think her acts are best. Shes honest and makes good choices. I hope simon doesn't sack her.

Now that is debatable, if by that you mean she can sing song after song without getting tired, then she is better than Alexandra. However in what she can do with her voice then Alexandra is better because she has more control over her voice.

So, given I feel control is important, I would have said she was the second best singer, followed by Laura who I believe would have been found to be lacking versatility as the show went on if she had stayed.

both actually, she has control and can sing song after song without tiring! (as seen, when she kept on singin big songs oin the bottom 2)

i would say laura was the best singer too but i think she didnt have the chance to show enough!

well, alexandra is one of the best singer this year, but defenatly not the best, shes got the looks though...
i'd say its more like;

1. Laura/Ruth
2. Laura/Ruth
3. Alexandra

austin probably 4th

Yes has a certain control, but I know she was having problems singing quietly and that is what the shows voice coach said she was working on. She was getting better control week in and week out as the show went on. The with Ruth was the emotion in her voice was fantastic, it would be great to she her live.

I guess people like different types of singing voices, since my order is different, but one thing we can clearly agree on is that Alexandra, Ruth and Laura should be the acts in the final.

It's Simon and Louis that should be without acts in the finals, not one of the female judges.

I feel sorry for Dannii, she did great things with a category that statistically does not do well in the X Factor. You have to remember that, even before Daniel was out, people were predicting Dannii would be the first judge to lose all of her acts - yet she was the last judge to lose an act, so to be honest, she did a far better job than could have realistically been expected of her.
