Default X-Factor Fashion - Worse 5 of the series

Quote:
X-Factor Fashion - Worse 5 of the series
As the X-Factor draws to an end there has been tears, tantrums and a whole lot of fashion. From Diana's quirky style to JLS' matching, we look back at the worse five outfits worn by the finalists throughout the series.

5 - In fifth place is Eoghan: Eoghan's style has always been a little bit High School Musical for our taste. But during his performance of Abba's smash hit, 'Does Your Mother Know' in week nine, his shirt was so far off the style radar.

Shockingly the offensive to-the-eyes shirt was from Topman. Checks and lumberjack style shirts are right on trend for this season, but combined with the tie and the colour it's a bit too much. Also, maybe the next size up would be a better fit for the Irish sensation.

4 - In fourth place is Laura: From her first audition for X-Factor, Laura's sense of style was really unique. But from the first live show to her leaving back in week 5, her quirky style and big hair seemed to have been lost along the way.

In week three, during her rendition of 'God bless the child', she wore a dress by Isabell Kristensen - the same designer who created Katie Price's wedding dress. This dress seemed to cling to all the wrong places, and Laura didn't appear to look comfortable in it at all.

3 - In third place is Alexandra: Alexandra made it into our best dressed list twice, but on week nine her outfit left us disappointed. During her second performance singing, Toni Braxton's hit 'Unbreak my heart', she wore an all-in-one by designer Fendi.

The all-in-one or romper suit is still a big trend for 2008, but this really didn't complement Alexandra's terrific figure. Accessorising with shoes from Topshop completed her look.

The shoulder cut-out detail was good and the waist belt is also right on trend but everything from there downwards didn't do any justice.

2 - In second place is JLS: This look showcased in week eight, is bound to be from the brains of boy band mogul Louis Walsh.Matching suits can be good, but this all white ensemble with matching leather jackets is a bit too much.

The boys wore customised jackets and jeans for Topman, during their rendition of 'You light up my life'.Usually the boys hit the mark, they are even featured in our best-dressed list, but this group look is a bit too Westlife for our liking.

1 - In first place is Ruth: Poor Ruth in week eight was subjected to a double whammy of bad outfits. Particularly, during her phenomenal rendition of Bon Jovi's 'Always' Ruth wore a dress by Suzanne Neville.

Ruth has featured in our best dressed list, but this outfit really doesn't do much for the Spanish beauties gorgeous figure. The chiffon layering across her stomach just isn't a good look and the colour isn't the favourite we've seen on Ruth.

Check out the best-dressed list to see who FemaleFirst thinks looked the best during this season of X-Factor.
